History
Built by farmers, for farmers.

Texas DHIA is a non-profit organization aimed at helping dairies across the state continue
to progress and advance their herds.

In 1967, our company began as the Texas Federation of Dairy Herd Improvement
Associations, Inc. The idea began at Texas A&M University in College Station.

The company was renamed to the Texas Dairy Herd Improvement Association, Inc.
in 1975.

After several years of success with the Texas A&M Extension system, the Texas DHIA moved to Stephenville. We continue to have a strong working relationship with Tarleton State University at our Stephenville location.

Our main office and lab moved to the West Texas A&M University campus in 2006. In Canyon, we are able to work with the college resources to service the large dairies in the Texas Panhandle and surrounding areas.
